Buffy The Vampire Slayer S:02 Ep:17

Episode Title: Passion

Original Air Date: February 24, 1998

“We had kind of a ‘pajama party sleepover with weapons’ thing” – Willow

This week is not only a key episode but also one which sadly marks the end of the line for one of the cast, as Angel embark on a campaign of torment against the Scoobies, while at the same time Jenny believes that she may have found a way to restore his soul.

The Flash S:02 E:09

Episode Title: Running to Stand Still
Original Airdate: 12-8-15

It’s already come time for the midseason finale before the show takes a relatively short break before coming back alongside Legends of Tomorrow in about a month and a half. This episode is all about secrets coming out into the open as well as a few secrets that remain buried. Or another way to put it is secrets from the past coming back to haunt you. After several episodes kind of sitting it out, Zoom makes a reappearance and so does the Trickster, just in time for Christmas.

iZombie S2

Episode Title: Cape Town
Original Airdate: 12-8-15

This week Liv rides the recent superhero wave as she dons a mask to fight crime in Seattle. Not that she doesn’t already fight crime in Seattle, but she’s not normally as theatrical about it. The brain-of-the-week was a high school shop teacher by day, masked crime fighter by night. He ended up in a dumpster, bludgeoned to death after trying to help a mugging victim. When Liv and Babineaux find out that he was also putting together a team of other self-proclaimed superheroes to stop crime lord Stacy Boss (the one Peyton’s been investigating) from importing illegal firearms, Liv joins the fight but causes far more trouble than expected. Babineaux has had enough of her antics and says she can no longer work cases with him. She then goes home and breaks up with Major, because he doesn’t understand that the wacky traits she takes on from eating brains is now a part of who she is.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold S02 E13

Episode Title: “The Siege of Starro! Part 1″

Original Air Date: September 17, 2010

This episode features the beginning of the culmination of all the Starro teasers we have gotten so far. Much like the first season built up Equinox via teasers, this season has built up Starro. But we’re only half way through the season, so why bring it to a peak now? Also, I didn’t feel like the show stuck the landing with Equinox last season, so I wonder if they’ll do better this time around. Read on to find out.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer S:02 Ep:16

Episode title: Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered

Original air date: February 10, 1998

“Well, this is new territory for me. I mean, my valentines are usually met with heartfelt restraining orders.” – Xander

Yes it’s another of my favourite episodes with this Xander lead episodes see’s him teaming up with Witch Amy to cast a love spell on Cordelia after she leaves him fearing the damage their relationship is doing to her status at Sunnydale High. Of course things don’t go exactly as planned when Xander suddenly finds himself irresistibly attractive to all women except Cordeilia!

Arrow S:04 E:08

Episode Title: Legends of Yesterday
Original Airdate: 12-2-15

The closest we’ll come to the CW version of the Justice League debuted on Arrow, in a satisfying conclusion to the now annual Arrow/Flash crossover event.

It wasn’t all perfect, this was the one time so much focus on the support staff members like Cisco and Felicity was getting in the way of straight out superhero fight action, but it was a lot of fun. Continue reading Arrow S:04 E:08

The Flash S:02 E:08

Episode Title: Heroes of Today
Original Airdate: 12-1-15

I wonder if this will be planned to be a yearly-ish thing for Flash and Arrow to have their big crossover episode around midseason finale time. Or at least a couple episodes before midseason finale since there’s at least one more new episode of the Flash to come out next week. Not to mention that this episode, at least the first half of it feels more like the biggest part of the prequel to Legends of Tomorrow than any other episode to date. I mean, it’s even called Legends of Today, you can’t get much more clearer than that. But it was still a very fun episode that brought a lot out on all fronts. It was interesting for me to watch since I still haven’t been watching Arrow so the last time I caught up with them was the last time that Barry caught up with them.

iZombie S2

Episode Title: The Hurt Stalker
Original Airdate: 12-1-15

Liv’s back from a brains-and-stuffing Thanksgiving break, and she is full on cray. After the mystery woman from the end of the last episode (the one who left a package on FBI Agent Bozzio’s doorstep) is murdered in a parking garage, Liv eats her brain to prove that the victim’s ex-boyfriend, Det. Clive Babineaux, isn’t the killer.

Gotham S:02 E:11

Episode Title: Worse Than a Crime
Original Airdate: 11-30-15

We’ve come to the midseason finale and it’s been a doozy in more ways than one. It’s amazing to me that just over a month ago I was nearly ready to stop watching this show because I disliked everything about it aside from a couple characters. And in such a short time it has turned around into one of my favorite shows of the year. Every single character arc is hitting for me on every level and it’s a shame that the teaser for the return has a bit of an odd turn. Hopefully they can keep these characters going the way they have been because I’m all for it for now.

TWD S6 Promo

Episode Title: Start to Finish
Original Airdate: 11-29-15

After the fall of the Alexandria wall, everyone flees to safety. Carol and Morgan make it into an unfinished house. While running Carol fell and hit her head, so Morgan is concerned she may have a concussion. She fakes weakness and dashes to the basement where Morgan left the Wolf, alone with Dr. Denise. Carol tries to kill him, but , after a standoff with Morgan, he knocks her out, then the Wolf knocks out Morgan with his own stick. Tara, Rosita and Eugene (the voice calling “help” on the walkie two weeks back)  rush in, as they were trapped in the garage of the same house upstairs, to see the Wolf leaving with Dr. Denise as a shield, not caring whether he (or she) lives or dies at the hands of the horde.
