Episode Title: Pour Some Sugar, Zombie
Original Airdate: 3-29-16

This week Liv and Clive investigate the murder of a stripper, who had just called Peyton with the intention of ratting out her two-timing boyfriend who just happens to work for Stacy Boss. Of course the boyfriend is a suspect, plus several other strippers and that weird weatherman who pops up as a suspect from time to time, Johnny Frost. One day it really will be him, I swear. Liv’s secondhand personality is mainly a lot of yelling at people, but there is one weird scene where she gives Peyton a lap dance at a strip club to try to trigger a vision. It doesn’t work.

Episode Title: World’s Finest

Original Airdate: 03-28-2016

Otherwise known as The One Where The Flash Guest Stars. If it’s possible for two shows to poke meta-referential fun at each other, “World’s Finest” does the job well. It has to be remembered that at one point a crossover between CW’s The Flash and CBS’s Supergirl was never even on the table: producer Greg Berlanti stated that bringing either hero into each other’s respective universes was a pretty big long shot, and yet here we are, 18 episodes into Supergirl’s first season (and a dozen or more into Flash’s 2nd) and both Barry Allen and Kara Danvers trade interdimensional references and powers in one of the “fun” episodes of the series’ run thus far.

TWD S6 Promo

Episode Title: East
Original Airdate: 3-27-16

So much stupidity and a big shocking ending for the penultimate episode of Season 6. So Carol left Alexandria at the end of last week’s episode, because she can no longer kill for seemingly no reason, and therefore cannot go against the Saviors to save herself and everyone else. Not long after setting off she encounters a truck full of Saviors, whom she tries to beg to let her go, but eventually kills almost all of them. One escapes on foot, presumably back to the Saviors’ compound.

Barry and co are back from their mini hiatus and are met with yet another speedster and this time it’s a lady. Meanwhile Iris has to deal with her own mini J. Jonah Jameson who also just happens to have a little crush on her, which is probably why she hasn’t been fired yet. Sadly things are hardly going well for her as she is humiliated and abandoned by her former group. Of course this being Sunnydale means that things can always get worse which they do when Cordelia unwittingly has her wish that Buffy never came to Sunnydale granted by the vengeance demon Anyanka.

And, after yet another hiatus, we’re back. This week Liv and Clive investigate the murder of a scientist who was burned alive. She had been a researcher for a drug company with results that went very awry for one poor test subject, which leaves a few suspects, like the scarred test subject and the deceased’s former partner. But during all the questioning, Liv has a vision of the scientist working for none other than Van du Clark at Max Rager. Liv goes under cover to learn more, but gets caught by VDC when she tries to sneak into the super secret basement lab. However, she has another vision of a full-on zombie, which leads her to believe that Max Rager is experimenting on the undead in said super secret basement lab (which is totally true).
