Buffy The Vampire Slayer S:02 Ep:10

Episode title: What’s My Line Part 2

Original air date: November 24, 1997

“I Mock You With My Monkey Pants” – Oz

So last weeks episode ended on a cliffhanger with Angel being locked in a cage by Kendra and facing being dusted by the quickly approaching sunrise. Elsewhere Buffy was left dealing with the fact that Kendra was the second slayer, while also wondering when the remaining two assassins from the “Order of Taraka” hired by Spike were going to strike. It was a surprisingly busy time in Sunnydale in what was really a ho-hum episode so this second part really had a lot to make up for.

31 Days of Tales From the Crypt S:06 E:03

Good morning creeps and creepettes, Cryptkeeper Bubbawheat back for day 22 of our 31 Days of Tales From the Crypt. Today’s rodent is none other than Bernardo Villela who is The Movie Rat where he nibbles on all sorts of film, including plenty of foreign, indie, and documentary titles. Today, he takes a look at one of the episodes that I’m entirely unfamiliar with but sounds infinitely interesting, especially for me considering I have a penchant towards time loops, or might I say a time Whirlpool.

Episode Title: Whirlpool

31 Days of Tales From the Crypt S:04 E:03

Hello kiddies, Cryptkeeper Bubbawheat joining you yet again for another round of our 31 Days of Tales From the Crypt, gather ’round the computer as our friend theVoid99 recounts the tale of the rocker’s woe. He can usually be found at his haunting grounds Surrender to the Void where he reviews movies of all shapes and sizes past and present, though usually past. Today he’s taking a look at possibly one of his favorite yet one of my least favorite episodes as what happens when the likes of a Yoko Ono takes on a more modern heavy metal band where Heavy D plays a voodoo priest who tattoos not fifteen men, but just one woman On a Deadman’s Chest.

Episode Title: On a Deadman’s Chest

Good morning pests and putrescence, Cryptkeeper Bubbawheat keeping things going right on track for day 20 of our 31 Days of Tales From the Crypt. Our next victim comes from Cinefessions where you go to confess all your cinema sins. Oops, sorry that’s something else not affiliated with Cinefessions, forget I said that. As I was saying, over at Cinefessions, Branden along with a few others discuss all types of film as well as have a podcast, and even talk some TV. But today he’s talking about one of the most terrifying episodes of Tales From the Crypt, at least it is if you work in the TV business, you might say it’s a Television Terror.

Episode Title: Television Terror

Welcome back to another day in our 31 Days of Tales From the Crypt, I’m your host Cryptkeeper Bubbawheat and on day 19 of our little trip through the back episodes it’s time to introduce yet another blogger to come in and tackle an episode. Today’s guest is Nick Spacek who heads up his own Rock Star Journalist where he tackles a lot of music and is currently in the middle of a horror movie marathon like most movie bloggers this month. The episode that he picked out is one of the more comedic episodes. Personally, I usually enjoyed the comedy in Tales From the Crypt, but was never too fond of the completely comedic episodes including this one, but the performances are still a highlight for My Brother’s Keeper.

31 Days of Tales From the Crypt: S:03 E:14

Good morning boils and ghouls, it’s time for the 18th victim to tell his tale of what happened when he watched an episode of Tales From the Crypt. This time it’s Tony Cogan from Coog’s Reviews where tackles most of the new releases coming out in theaters each week. He’s taking a look at one of the most unique Tales From the Crypt episodes, it’s the only one that’s an hour long instead of the usual 30 minutes as it was one of three originally intended for a movie anthology spinoff. There’s little to no humor in this one outside of the Cryptkeeper’s introduction but it’s one of the all time best episodes of the series about a World War I soldier turning Yellow.

Episode Title: Yellow

Yee-haw kiddies, it’s day 17 of our 31 Days of Tales From the Crypt and I’m still your host Cryptkeeper Bubbawheat back for another guest blogger to take a look at another episode of our favorite show. Today’s guest is Jason Soto from Your Face! who is taking a look at a very fun, but also pretty simple tale, so much so that he decided to continue on and look at a bunch of other horror TV shows including some more recent ones. But here’s the deal, we’re going to stick with the hand that’s dealt us and before you shuffle off this mortal coil, ante up, shuffle the deck and it’s time for Cutting Cards.

Hello dummies, Cryptkeeper Bubbawheat here to introduce you to yet another one of our 31 Days of Tales From the Crypt, day 16 to be exact. Don’t worry about my introduction, it wasn’t meant to offend, but it ties into the episode that we are looking at today, specifically the Ventriloquist’s Dummy which was one of my favorite episodes from season 2. But I’m not the one discussing today’s episode, oh no. Instead we have Nick Rehak from our good friends over at French Toast Sunday where Nick can be found talking about Muppets and making jokes on their weekly podcast. You can also check out his stand up comedy album over at his Bandcamp page. Take it away Dummy, I mean Ventriloquist’s Dummy!

SuperMansion S:01 E:04

Episode Title: A Shot In The Dark.
Original Airdate: 10-15-15

The inspiration for the fourth episode of SuperMansioncan can be summed up by Dadant, dadant, dadant dadant dadant dadant dadant dadaaaaaaant. This episode is split into two main story lines at a nearly 50-50 split, one that introduces another returning villain and the other bringing back the threat of episode 1 and a decreased budget. Within these two story lines each character has something to do which is a first for the series and shows potential growth of the series and its writers. Another first for the show is something that a lot of movies, such as Transformers 4 are criticized for: product placement.

The Flash S:02 E:02

Episode Title: Flash of Two Worlds
Original Airdate: 10-12-15

The Flash is back once again and partly as I suspected, Jay Garrick is starting to assume the role of substitute Harrison Wells complete with Barry’s lack of trust from being burned once before. This episode is really all about learning to trust again, all of the characters have suffered through some sort of betrayal in one form or another and this time around things are different, but there are enough doubts that instead of embracing the trust from the start, that trust now has to be earned in more ways than one.
