Day 11 already? It must be time to roll out of the grave for another day in our 31 Days of Tales From the Crypt. Cryptkeeper Bubbawheat here again to introduce yet another in our line of guest bloggers taking a look at an episode of this great HBO series. Today we have M. Brown from Two Dollar Cinema where he can usually be found giving his Yays and Boos at various not-quite new releases. But today he’s looking at one of the more fun episodes with a couple cringe-inducing moments, especially if you don’t like seeing anything going in someone’s ear. It also has a few recognizable faces in the episode and one very recognizable voice if you were a fan of stand-up comedy in the late 80’s/early 90’s For Cryin’ Out Loud.

Good morning mutants and mutettes! Cryptkeeper Bubbawheat back yet again to introduce the episode for day 9 of our 31 Days of Tales From the Crypt. Today’s guest goes by the name Table 9 Mutant which is appropriate that she chose day 9. She spends some of her free time writing on movies, as well as randomly amusing lists and statistics over at her site Cinema Parrot Disco. And in case you’re wondering, it’s not likely that you’ll figure out those references that easily if you don’t already know them. The episode she has chosen is Forever Ambergris from one of my recommendations. I hadn’t watched it in a while, but remember it being one of the better ones as well as being rather gruesome and co-starring Steve Buscemi. So here’s the mutant’s take on Forever Ambergris.

Today’s episode is being looked at by one of our own authors here at Channel: Superhero, Todd Leibenow. He’s someone just as busy as I am with two podcasts and his own blog all hosted over at Forgotten Films and he also covered the entire series of the 1980’s Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends and has moved onto the Adam West ’66 Batman. Good evening ghosts and goblins, welcome once again to another day in our 31 Days of Tales From the Crypt, day 5 to be exact. Where I, your Cryptkeeper Bubbawheat am here to introduce today’s guest blogger who will be taking a look at the very first episode in this series that just so happens to star frequent Tales From the Crypt actor William Sadler who played in two episodes of the show, was a main character in the first movie, and had a small role in the second. As for our host today, he goes by the name Spikor who you may or may not recognize as one of the villains from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. This Spikor writes over at Fat Guy With Glasses where he dispenses his wisdom on books, movies, TV, and of course, action figures. But today he’s here talking about another episode of Tales From the Crypt!

31 Days of Tales From the Crypt S:02 E:14

Welcome back to day 3 of our 31 Days of Tales From the Crypt here at Channel Superhero, I am your cryptkeeper host Bubbawheat guiding you through the various bloggers and episodes that we are taking a look at this October. Today’s review comes from David Brook who generally writes various editorial articles as well as older cult-ish films over at Blueprint: Review alongside their coverage of new release films, I obviously approve of the use of a colon in their site’s title. Being from across the pond in the UK, he chose one of my recommended episodes which was an episode I rather enjoyed, but also knew that it was a very odd one in terms of tone and subject matter. I will also note one thing that he didn’t mention, that this was a nice touch to give a little origin story to the Cryptkeeper which made me enjoy it all the more. But enough about me, let’s hear what David thought of Lower Berth.
