Good morning creeps and creepettes, Cryptkeeper Bubbawheat back for day 22 of our 31 Days of Tales From the Crypt. Today’s rodent is none other than Bernardo Villela who is The Movie Rat where he nibbles on all sorts of film, including plenty of foreign, indie, and documentary titles. Today, he takes a look at one of the episodes that I’m entirely unfamiliar with but sounds infinitely interesting, especially for me considering I have a penchant towards time loops, or might I say a time Whirlpool.

Good morning pests and putrescence, Cryptkeeper Bubbawheat keeping things going right on track for day 20 of our 31 Days of Tales From the Crypt. Our next victim comes from Cinefessions where you go to confess all your cinema sins. Oops, sorry that’s something else not affiliated with Cinefessions, forget I said that. As I was saying, over at Cinefessions, Branden along with a few others discuss all types of film as well as have a podcast, and even talk some TV. But today he’s talking about one of the most terrifying episodes of Tales From the Crypt, at least it is if you work in the TV business, you might say it’s a Television Terror.

Well, I guess they don’t have to pay those pesky Alexandria extras anymore…

The Wolves that were ominously introduced in the Season 5 finale descended upon the sleepy community of Alexandria with no warning. Seriously, Carol was making a casserole and looked out the window to see one of her neighbors cut down in her front yard by a wild man with a machete. From there, chaos reigned. Wolves tore through Alexandria, killing nearly everyone we’ve never met. Carol eventually disguised herself as one of them and started taking them out ninja style till none were left. The Walker-alerting horn from the end of last week’s episode was from a semi that crashed after the tower guard shot the driver. Morgan made it back to town before anyone else and helped, in his new-Morgan-zenlike way, allowing the Wolves to choose to leave and live, which several did. But in the end, he did have to put one down for good.

31 Days of Tales From the Crypt S:02 E:17

Welcome back to another day in our 31 Days of Tales From the Crypt, I’m your host Cryptkeeper Bubbawheat and on day 19 of our little trip through the back episodes it’s time to introduce yet another blogger to come in and tackle an episode. Today’s guest is Nick Spacek who heads up his own Rock Star Journalist where he tackles a lot of music and is currently in the middle of a horror movie marathon like most movie bloggers this month. The episode that he picked out is one of the more comedic episodes. Personally, I usually enjoyed the comedy in Tales From the Crypt, but was never too fond of the completely comedic episodes including this one, but the performances are still a highlight for My Brother’s Keeper.

31 Days of Tales From the Crypt: S:03 E:14

Good morning boils and ghouls, it’s time for the 18th victim to tell his tale of what happened when he watched an episode of Tales From the Crypt. This time it’s Tony Cogan from Coog’s Reviews where tackles most of the new releases coming out in theaters each week. He’s taking a look at one of the most unique Tales From the Crypt episodes, it’s the only one that’s an hour long instead of the usual 30 minutes as it was one of three originally intended for a movie anthology spinoff. There’s little to no humor in this one outside of the Cryptkeeper’s introduction but it’s one of the all time best episodes of the series about a World War I soldier turning Yellow.

31 Days of Tales From the Crypt S:05 E:04

Cryptkeeper Bubbawheat here for the midpoint of our 31 Days of Tales From the Crypt. It’s been a lot of fun so far reading everyone’s takes on some of the best and the not-so-good episodes, but we still have several of great episodes on their way. For today’s episode I’m continuing my way through the fifth season where I ended last year and am now up to the fourth episode as the first and third episodes have already been claimed by others. I remembered this one fondly and it was interesting watching it this time as I clearly remembered the twist that actually does change your perception of what’s going on in the episode which isn’t common in most of the Tales From the Crypt twists, how’s that for a little food for thought?

Suddenly, one of the 18-wheelers keeping the Walkers trapped topples into the quarry, and everyone is in action mode. Though they were just doing a “dress rehearsal,” they have to follow through with the plan immediately.
