Welcome to another Webseries Spotlight where you don’t just have to read about the shows we cover here, but you can actually watch them. This time around I’m featuring an animated webseries from Klomp Animation based out of the Netherlands about superheroes having a bad day, appropriately called Bad Days. We will be sharing an episode, a part of our conversation with lead animator and co-founder Junaid Chundrigar, and/or some behind the scenes pictures each week every Thursday. This week it’s the Man of Steel, Kal-El, Clark Kent, Man of Tomorrow, not-a-bird-or-a-plane, also known as plain old Superman.
Channel: Superhero: Is there any character that you really would like to do, but know it’s just too obscure?
Junaid Chundrigar: Davor always wanted to do a Sonic the Hedgehog episode. I would very much like to do one about Ghost Rider.
CS: What are some of the biggest influences on your drawing & animation style?
JC: We both grew up (and are very much inspired by) the Disney classics. Apart from that, Looney Tunes, the 90’s Cartoon Network shows and the old classic Adventure Games like Monkey Island and Sam & Max also played a big part for me personally.
